Ray Miller Memorial ,2 nights of great racing.

Crate Racin USA late models were in town for the 10k to win ,2 day show helping us pay tribute to a man that did so much for the sport in our region.
Friday night began with 47 late models qualifying, with fast time being set by Hunter Peacock at 16,684.
4 heat races then followed, heat winners were , Rhett Carter , Trynt Lloyd, Mark Whitener and Haiden Cowan.
Also running Friday night , heats and feature ;were 602s, Street Stock and SuperStreet .
Feature winners were ,
602 - Wiley McDaniel,
SuperStreet - Mack Williams
Street Stock - Dalton Kirby.
Saturday night consisted of 2 B mains for the CRUSA late models , those were won by Jimmy Thomas and Garrett Lloyd.
With those transfers and provisionals the 27 car field was set for the 60 lap feature.
Polesitter Haiden Cowan led 12 of the first 13 laps before giving way to Mark Whitener on Lap 14. He had a number of challenges though out the remaining 46 laps from Hunter Peacock, Trynt Lloyd and a, late hard charging Cody Overton who started 19th and finished 2nd to winner Mark Whitener.
The top 5 were Mark Whitener, Cody Overton, Hunter Peacock , Trynt Lloyd and Clay Harris .
Congrats to Mark Whitener on the win ! ( pending tire and fuel samples)
Other winners Sat night were in
602 - Nevin Gainey,
Enduro - Jaime Flowers
Crown Vic - Coty Gray.
